After seeing 110 bands in 2012 I set my goal for 2013 to be only or mostly national acts. I ended up seeing 75 bands and picked off a lot of musicians and groups from the Downbeat Critics Polls from 2012 & 2013. I saw many memorable shows and can’t really do a Top Ten List. Top Twenty-Five would be easier. Standby for a big announcement from me for the Pat Metheny Unity Group show in Chicago on March 11th. As soon as the details are finalized I will be posting it here. |
