Jim Hall, Jazz Guitarist, Dies at 83. They first time I heard Jim Hall was his version of the Concerto de Aranjuez together with Chet Baker, then a trio record. That was before Pat entered the stage. Then many years later they first recorded their version of Dlango and then a complete recording. There is so much of Jim Hall’s playing in Pat’s music.

Bookmark and Share Just heard a medley of his music last night on the local jazz station and thought it must have been his birthday. Now I know it was the opposite. Another great one passes. RIP
