Has anyone heard this interest folk singer/songwriter. I just heard her new CD "Once I was an Eagle". Really good and interesting sometimes jarring writing. I think there is something really unique here. She has a way a bringing out an interesting deep tone from the acoustic guitar. Reminds me a little of Joni Mitchell in some places, but still very different. Best way to describe her singing is a mix of Phoebe Snow and Janis Ian I think.The CD is sort of like a long suite. I love it all the way through. I think it is really good. Check it out! |
