Out of interest, how old are you? (Ladies, of course, need not answer and please forgive me for asking.) I’m 50. |

15 going on 46. |
davek May 05 2011 at 1:34 PM |
58, still playing full court hoops every week. When that stops I will: 1)stop hurting fingers/guitar playing 2) accelerate my aging no doubt, worth it. |
thehague May 02 2011 at 6:51 AM |
I was already afraid so, Tom :-) |
tokeyozi May 01 2011 at 1:56 PM |
Yes, hague, you are; but still, an old one ;) |
thehague Apr 30 2011 at 5:06 PM |
Well, I´m only 57, Tokeyozi. And quite young at heart. And knowledgable about Wayne Johnson (thanks to you). Does that make me a gozer? |
tokeyozi Apr 30 2011 at 6:05 AM |
So we finally have a young geezer around. Welcome, AbstraktJazz. Btw, geezer is ’gozer’ in (very colloquial) Dutch. |
AbstraktJazz Apr 29 2011 at 7:03 PM |
I’m 19 :) But my love to PMG started about 3 years ago ;) |
Bruce Apr 17 2011 at 10:53 AM |
53. Who is compiling this info for a mass email marketing plan? |
Bob Meyrick Apr 17 2011 at 10:44 AM |
For an understanding of what it truly means to be a "chap", try this - http://www.thechap.net/ |

Hi John, how about "chap"? 44 next week by the way. Same day as Al Pacino, another great actor! |
john Apr 16 2011 at 7:10 AM |
Please don’t go labelling everyone of a certain age around here as geezers. I consider myself to be a bloke - a very important distinction. Cheers John. |
Antoñete Apr 16 2011 at 4:26 AM |
Hey Pete, geezer would be more like "vejestorio" which is a word a little pejorative. "Abuelete" is an affectionate, a kind word, but I don’t know an accurate translation. |
barley Apr 16 2011 at 4:00 AM |
When I was a boy I wanted to be a geezer when I grew up. In the words of Shania Twain- Looks like we made it. Bless you Antonete. You too Pete. |
Pete_Vancouver Apr 15 2011 at 6:11 PM |
abuelete - geezer (translation) . Hmmm , well I can live with that . I’d even go so far as to say there are some ’diamond geezers’ here . In the interests of equality , one wonders if there are any ’abuletesses’ lurking unbeknownst to us . Methinks so . |
Antoñete Apr 15 2011 at 2:54 PM |
In the days of Imaginary Day this forum was full of young thirty something people. They used to discuss wether they liked oranges or apples. Now it’s full of abueletes. |
Dazedcat Apr 15 2011 at 12:32 PM |
The demographics listed here doesn’t really surprise me. Most are professional and most are of similar age. Hey why not though? If you discover something great in your youth you have a tendency to stay with it. Metheny is a very unique musician, a very very few are as unique as he is. So you stick with what’s special considering so much else is just redunant copy. |
alexjames Apr 15 2011 at 9:02 AM |
38 but my birth certificate says 55 |
hman01 Apr 14 2011 at 10:51 AM |
Sometimes when I go to church I see mostly gray hair.Could this be the same situation in the church of PMG? Maybe more evangelism is needed.A new mission for the street team.We must mentor our youth on the values of Quality listenership. |

The fact of the matter is, time doesn’t wait...some of us have been posting in this forum for more than 15 years..(yikes) |
patsfan Apr 13 2011 at 10:58 PM |
After 54 posts, we have some solid statistics here. I’m really impressed...and depressed.. at the uniformity of ages ( middle age ) here. What does this all mean? Well, maybe I’ll start a new subject on this topic, because I can’t believe we hardly got any posts by the x generation or whatever they call the under 40s. Has anyone of Pat’s talent and genius come up since then?? If so, let me know. |
tokeyozi Apr 13 2011 at 1:38 PM |
Looked it up in wikipedia, Hague. Frankie was 38 when he first sang it (and still did when he was 80). You’re welcome ;) |

’Fraid I’m bringing the average up again, as I’m barely 4 weeks younger than Stevie Wonder. Additional note: Little Stevie recorded his first #1 hit (Fingertips) at the age of 12, while I was still playing air guitar to Cliff and the Shadows (luckily I’d learnt my first guitar chords when Beatle mania broke out). |
robby27 Apr 08 2011 at 9:12 PM |
55 this past February and just as excited about life as I was in 1978 when I first heard PMG. |
