I would like to hear Pat playing Piazzolla with PM style. Why don’t you play Piazzolla, Pat? Its a music specially for your hands. I’m argentine and I don’t write a very good english but...¿do you understand me? And I have a dream: Pat playing the music of The Schindler list. Sometimes maybe... Bye. |

astor was one of my favorite musician ever - and also one of my favorite people. we became friends in the mid - 80’s. he came to see me play 3 or 4 different times in different cities, in different contexts - an amazing compliment that i still really can’t believe, considering that he was one of the most important composers of this century. he wanted to write something for the PMG, believe it or not. his only thing was that he wanted me to play nylon string guitar, not electric, because he said he liked the sound that i got with that instrument. he talked to me about it on several occasions, and shortly before his stroke, contacted me about some specifics of how to do it with scoring for the synths, etc. man, would that have been unbelievable, or what??????
