Come and See along with a couple of other songs off the new cd are starting to grow on me. Particularly the intro with the interplay between Pikasso guitar and bass clarinet is spectacular. I think it’s the best use of the Pikasso since Pat has been playing it and the bc compliments it perfectly. And the groove to the rest of the song is hypnotic. Clearly my favorite new song and the one I can’t wait to see live in August. |

Aye. "Interval Waltz" is another profound gem of a tune on this disc. Accessible and cerebral at the same time, and man does Potter belt out a memorable, lyrical solo. Jazz is alive and well in 2012, eh?
