Saw Jim Hall in a duoconcert with Scott Colley last Friday. They had to help him on stage (81 years old) but my God what a great musician.Played a fantastic version of My Funny Valentine. A sound you would recognize anywhere anytime. Before him : the Brad Mehldau Trio. What a night. Again. |

Nice opening act. Reminds me of when my wife and I saw Jon-Luc Ponty open for the Rippingtons, although her I think I would like both acts equally were in our case we came just for Jon-Luc.
