Sunday, April 29th, Jean ’Toots’ Thielemans will reach the age of 90. A very remarkable musician who still has his magic touch, although (like he says) he "can’t play the notes that fast anymore". Recently Toots gave a private concert to the Belgian king and presented him with a vintage TT harmonica. The king thanked him and predicted "see you again in 10 years". Happy birthday Toots and thank you for all those great, heartwarming, soulful and moving sounds. |
