I agree, it’s a great recording. Chick has put out great records the past three years and this surely one of them.

As much a tribute to Paul Motians excellent lifetime of playing as Bill Evans songwriting side. Chick is restrained in his delivery and often nods to Bills Impressionistic harmonies. Eddie Gomez is seamles in knitting the loose ends together. A fine set with hidden surprises on each listen.
