Just got in from seeing Ralph Towner and Paolo Fresu in concert at Nottingham University’s Lakeside Theatre. If you know the "Chiaroscuro" CD then you’ll know what to expect. If not, well, Towner is a distinctive composer and a tremendous guitarist, and Fresu has a glorious tone on flugel and trumpet. They have a few more gigs in the UK (Much Wenlock, London and Manchester) before heading off to Europe. Recommended.

Bookmark and Share You’re a lucky fellow Bob. I’ve been listening to Chiaroscuro for about a year now, absolutely love it. I may have to get a place in Europe just so I can hear live music that I like.
