Just thought I would post about last night’s concert. It was such an awesome set. For those who are still awaiting to see him are in for a great set. It is always incredible to see Pat in action and the relation he has with Larry is something to see. They compliment each other greatly. I’m from Houston and I drove to Austin to catch the performance and Yes, it was totally worth the drive. Larry is super great as well. I talked with him for a little while after the show, thanking him for a great job. Great energy from both players. This was my sixth time seeing Pat and I am still amazed at his talent. Any other fans out there catch the show? What are your thoughts? Thanks for reading and your thoughts. Shawn

Bookmark and Share Went to the first show last night in Edmond, OK. Wonderful music with some pleasant surprises! Pat was superb as usual. Is he never at the top of his game? It was the first time I had ever seen Larry perform in person, and all I can say is WOW! What a monster on bass. Catch a show if you can.

Bookmark and Share I appreciate the posts from other cities. Pat and Larry had a solid two hours and 4 encores in Portland, and the Portland audience was more than appreciative, as Portland is an amazing jazz town and a town full of many, many talented musicians. The audience would clap after a solo, yet hold back in courtesy when a softly moving passage traded players....... Pat was funny too though, in that he started to talk about the opening set, looked at his notes and said it didn’t seem right, and then said "It was all a blur anyway",,.....a very emotional and spiritual night for me, as I have followed him since 79’.For future cities..........don’t miss the show......
