Any news if Pat and team will be doing a tour on this album? , "From This Place". I would love to see this. |

This year Pat has his year very full with the Side-Eye and Dream Box Tour. Also I just visited Linda May Han Oh’s
website and she has a very full schedule through the rest of 2023 with multiple duo projects and a major Vijay Iyer
Trio tour. Maybe in 2024 Pat will reunite the From This Place quartet, but may have something else in mind. I would
love to see him assemble a big band and do an extensive tour with it. It got me thinking about who he could get.

The last article/interview I read from Pat in Downbeat mentioned the Dream Box record and tour and the next Side-
Eye record and tour. He also said they had just completed the From This Place quartet tour that was interrupted by
the COVID shutdown. Pat has a very full 2023 schedule already with more additions expected. Maybe he will tour
with that band in 2024. Just my opinion. I know both Linda May Han Oh and Antonio Sanchez are busy with their own
and other projects this year. I recently saw Linda’s group in Chicago.
