I was trying to find the post here regarding Pat turning 68 this year and maybe slowing down on touring. Yesterday and today I was looking at two of the five Pat tour programs that I have. In the Letter From Home 1989 World Tour program the tour was from June 29 to December 19. In a 174 period he had a show 116 days (66percent). In the Pat Metheny Unity Group 2014 World Tour program the tour started on February 3 and ended on December 7. Out of 307 days Pat had shows 151 days (49percent). Pat turned sixty that year. This year’s tours are within that range 49percent to 66percent. I see no signs of Pat slowing down his touring schedule. |
