Thx to Tiny Tim who has been convincing me for some time now that I had to go and see Snarky Puppy. Saw them on Wednesday in Brussels and it was simply fantastic. Great musicians, heavy funk beats mixed with jazzy influences and true virtuosity by every bandmember (9). Invited on stage for one tune was the bassplayer from the RH Factory, who seems to live in Bxl now. Pre-gig was Lucy Woodward, fantastic vocalist who normally tours with Rod Stewart. What a voice...! Go and see them if you can now! Thx TT! |
