that one was written quickly in a hotel room in stuttgart germany when i realized that i needed one more tune to finish up a record - sometimes a situation like that can really make you focus! it is all based on a continuous arpegio on the nashville tuning that is basically c/d to gmaj7 with different bass notes and melodies coming and going to change the color of the ostinato. |
