My question:Do you have any guest work planned with any rock artists? Your efforts with Bruce Hornsby, on the Jimi Hendrix tribute album, through your own work on "Zero Tolerance" and on such tunes of yours as "The Roots of Coincidence," seem to indicate that when the situation is right, you like to rock.

i don't really think about whether something is "rock" or whatever. if i like it, i usually feel like playing it - most of my musical instincts come from the "fan" that lives inside me and i respond as a player to that impulse. so if something comes up that asks a musical question that i might have a good answer for, i'll try to do it.
