it's true, "spring ain't here" is written for stanley - a musician i really love. the tune itself really does not have too much to do with stanley's sound or conception of playing - it's more about the feeling his music gives me. stanley did record one of my tunes, in fact it was the title tunes of one of his recent records - "if i could". |
