Question:

Thanks Pat, I've been a guitarist for 35 years, played mostly R&R, some country. About a year ago I bought a copy of 'Letter From Home'. Wow, your fabulous lines really inspired me, I've given up the Rock and want to learn as much as I can about jazz guitar, you really got my fire burning again. I've fallen in love with the guitar all over again. Thank you very much, hope you stop in Columbus, OH on your next tour, thanks.

Pat’s Answer:

hi jay,

thank you for your note. to me the major benefit of being a musician is the fact that you get to hang around with music itself. i have had many similar moments over the years where i have heard something or someone that has really made think about some aspect of music that i had never quite latched onto before. it makes me feel really good if the playing on "letter from home" gave you something. good luck with your music!

best from pat
