Hi Pat, It's way cool that we have a forum to ask you questions about your music. Thanks for the opportunity. You played an unrecorded ballad in G on nylon string during your Yoshi's trio gigs. It is an incredibly moving piece on par with Travels, Farmer's Trust, If I Could, Always and Forever. Any plans to record it or will it be in your songbook? I would love to learn to play it on my new Takamine ac/elec nylon string. P.S. I'm making headway through a transcription of Solo from 'More Travels'. Thanks.

since i have not recorded it yet, i have not had to think of a title for it just yet. it was written a couple of years ago for a gig i did with joshua redman and christian mcbride - i was thinking of their respective sounds when i wrote it - but i have since played it with a few other people and it is pretty flexible. i am glad you like it. thanks from pat m.
