hola Pat: My favorite song is ´Round Midnight by Thelonious Monk. I have a very big collection of Midnight. I think I have more than 200 covers of this song. Jazz covers, flamenco covers, a capella covers, etc. You, Kenny Garret and Sting are my favorite musicians. I have "round midnight" recorded by them and I am always waiting for your "Midnight". actually that is one of my favorites as well - i have been playing it since i was really young. that is one of those songs that you could play forever and always find something new about it. in fact, i know two other people besides you that are doing the same the thing, making compliation tapes of lots of versions of "round midnight". i did do a version of it on a tv show a few years ago with herbie hancock and nnenna freelon - but i don't remember ever doing a real version of my own anywhere. it would be nice to get to that sometime.
