Question: | Pat- thanks for all the great shows and recordings. My question: since you've been focusing on acoustic guitar a bit over the past few years, I'm wondering whether you've ever considered tackling classical pieces (I know you've got a full plate already). If you had the desire to make a classical recording, what would it take to get ready from a technical standpoint and which pieces might interest you? I was listening to Miles's jazz version of Rodrigo the other night and thought that the tone you get on pieces like "Solo from More Travels" would really carry a classical performance. What do you think? (By the way, I love the More Travels piece--maybe you could slip it in your solo acoustic spot here or there.) Thanks again. |
