Hey Pat, I think the one(1)thing that brought me closest to your music was your guitar synth.solo's. It seems as though you pull them out of nowhere, and they send me soaring when I hear them (ie. The Longest Summer, To The End of The World)My question for you is this: "It seems as though when your screaming (my term for your guitar synth. play) you're almost singing a song with this instrument, are you just going with the flow or is there a certain pattern you follow during play?" I just saw your Imaginary Day Tour & could tell how connected you are with this instrument. "WELL SO AM I PAT"!!! Keep playing Pat & Lyle, you guys are a dynamic-duo I absolutely feel your music. i love that instrument - the roland gr-300. i guess at this point it seems i am the only one who really uses it after a few people dabbled with it. i am still learning how to play it - every year i get a little closer to something with it.
