i just wonder if there are any new musicians that you consider "stylistically noteworthy"? i mean we´ve all heard joshua redman,seamus blake,wolfgang muthspiel,kurt rosenwinkel,ben monder who all got their personal voices pretty much together by now,but are there any young cats that haven´t "hit the limelight" yet that you would like to share with the rest of us?

yeah, there are a few guys..... there is a trumpet player from russia named alex sipagin that i really like - very melodic and smart. another trumpet player from philly named john swana who is great and a really good writer too. there is a great young guitar player from kansas city named jake blanton who i think is going to be really special. and mark shim is pretty well known, but he is young - and i really like him. there's a few!
