R.I.P. Lyle Mays (1953-2020)

It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing of our friend and brother, Lyle Mays (1953-2020). He passed today in Los Angeles after a long battle with a recurring illness, surrounded by loved ones.

Pat Receives honorary doctorate from University of Missouri

In September 2015 an earthquake hit the coast of Chile which triggered a 16 foot tsunami wave, killing 11 and destroying more than 170 homes. One of the homes was Raul Alvarez's, an avid Pat Metheny fan.

 We are all mourning the loss of the great Clark Terry. Clark was one of the most distinguished musicians in jazz history and one of most important trumpet/flugelhorn players of all time.
