Last Sunday I had a very nice conversation with Joe Dyson (drummer for upcoming S-E trio). He was at the Jazz Showcase with Donald Harrison’s Quartet. He is excited to be touring with Pat and James Francies. He spoke highly about both and said Pat creates a family feel for everyone involved with his touring company. I don’t want to post a Spoiler Alert, but there will be a great surprise in this tour. Joe said they are doing a lot of rehearsing and preparation. Anybody here going to the Chicago show in October? |
