This band is phenomenal! Michael League (bass-guitar) the main man of Snarky Puppy has gathered a bunch of highly-gifted young musicians into a strong collective of musicians whose playing is at an overall high level in the style of Jazz-Funk and Fusion. If you check out the output of the musicians of the band you can learn that almost all of them put records out on their own name, e.g. check out the guitarists Mark Lettieri and Bob Lanzetti, the keyboardists Justin Stanton, Cory Henry and Bill Laurance, the drummer Robert ´Sput´ Searight... Also check out their recent performance at Berklee Performance Center on Youtube. Highly recommended! |
