Came down from the north for this with no idea really to expect. After many speeches and finally so great to see Mr. Weber himself, then a lot of big band brass after an intermission came something that exceeded whatever expectations anyone might have had. A 30 minute tribute composition/movie to Eberhard Weber from Pat that was both pure Eberhard and pure Pat. At the end was a full minute of silence before anyone could clap. Tears everywhere. I must somehow find a ticket for tomorrow sold out show. |
