Bookmark and Share The late show this evening was more than great. I was sitting 10 feet away from Pat and the group, like they’re playing for me in my living room. What a great experience. Night after night, touring 31 countries (as per Pat’s estimation) and still as strong as ever. I wish I had words that could express how happy I feel right now.

Bookmark and Share Marshall- if I was going to the early show I would get there at 5pm. You should be among the first on line. At 6pm the line will be toward the end of the block. Everyone’s guaranteed a seat. But first come, first pick of seats. I am going tonight to the 10:30 show and I plan on getting there at 9pm. The blue note has food as well as drinks so if you’re there early you can eat something and have a drink. That’s what I would do.

Bookmark and Share Just a word to the wise if you are going to the blue note. Get there very early before showtime if you want a good seat. The place is small and the seats on the side have poor view. That could mean standing outside on a cold December evening for an hour and a half. But you will not regret getting a good seat right in front of the stage!!!

Bookmark and Share I’ll add--I’m very excited to see Pat at somewhere other than the Town Hall Theater. The acoustics there are awful and muddy everything. I’ve seen Pat there about 4-5 times and every time it’s sounded underwater.

Bookmark and Share I’m going to New York for the late show at the Blue Note December 5th. Can’t wait! Saw the Unity Group at the Town Hall, New York in late March and Copenhagen a month or so later. Great shows! The day after the NY-show I had the chance to spend an our with him and Stephen Doyle (and even Pat’s lovely wife Latifa) at Azart Gallery (buying a KIN-artwork). He’s such a nice person. As nice as you can imagine. I’ve been a fan for 25 years and Pat’s music has become a part of my DNA. I guss you could say it was a dream come true.
