Pat as Film Composer

Film-scoring is a natural extension of Pat's compositional ability- his music is already full of imagery, evoking vivid pictures of people, places and events. Passaggio is not Pat's first foray into scoring for the visual medium. Pat also scored the acclaimed film, "The Falcon and the Snowman." The challenge of film-scoring is not only writing music that complements a scene without over-powering it, but often having to do so under very difficult production schedules. Entire film-scores are often written in 3-8 weeks, not much time to write 30-50 minutes of music. Pat does so elegantly, and effectively, bringing his own unique style to a beautifully engaging film.
