If you are looking for another wonderful jazz piano player to immerse yourself into, check out Allan Gumbs. great player who used to play with Woody Shaw and many others. I have never heard Gumbs mentioned here so I thought I would bring it up. |

Yes Hague that is a nice record. Gumbs really lights it up on some of the uptempo Woody Shaw material. Very talented piano player.

I have his 1988 "That special part of me", which is kind of nice. Just pulled it out and gave it a spin, after many a year.
