Just want to let his fans out there know that Toots Thielemans has been hospitalised. Toots is 91 now and still performing. Let’s all hope he comes out allright so he can be with us some more years! Always and forever. |

naut, what a perfect analogy, the Grappelli of the harmonica! No one has ever made a harmonica sound like it was a natural fit for jazz but Toots. Get better soon

Actually he was supposed to perform in the city of Antwerp, Belgium on Wednesday but wasn’t feeling alright
so the show was cancelled and Toots was driven to the hospital. He is resting right now and is not supposed
to play anymore this year.Thumbs up for Toots!

Man, when I first saw the subject I thought, Oh no, not Toots too. I love Toots. He’s sort of like the Stephane Grappelli of the harmonica, so to speak. Let’s hope he’s not suffering and that he gains enough strength to record some more. Thanks for the heads-up, bxl.
