akakak Mar 19 2013 at 8:31 PM	Off to see the Brian Blade Fellowship band tomorrow (Wednesday) at Scullers in Boston. Should be great. This is a very special band. Nothing else like it!

akakak Mar 21 2013 at 9:23 PM	Should have wrote in earlier. Saw the fellowship last night at Scullers. Incredible show. Brian blade was on fire playing soft and subtle one second and violently the next with occasional screams of joy! Incredible performance. We were reasl close, just a few feet from the stage, so very intimate setting. Jon Cowherd on piano was amazing. I heard they completed recording a new project but not sure when its coming out.
HAMBONE Mar 20 2013 at 1:21 PM	I’ve seen Brian 3 times now, twice with Wayne Shorter’s quartet and once with the FB. He definitely plays with a lot of feeling and emotion, very distinct style of percussion work.

djbinder Mar 20 2013 at 7:55 AM	Enjoy!Been lucky to see ’em twice in the last couple years adn they really were exceptional. Theres a new record in the works, but when is a question nobody in the Blade camp seems able to answer, but when it comes....it’ll be a smoker!
aloc Mar 20 2013 at 3:16 AM	Yes, a very special group and Brian’s soulfulness is indeed also something special. Fellowship is a band that I’ve recommended to many non-jazz following friends as a jazz act they might enjoy.
