The "musings" thread got me thinking. Please forgive me if this has already been addressed, but I am wondering what occupations we are collectively. I am a psychotherapist. What are you? |

51 year old gal. Restaurant worker, and then artist on the side, and reader of mainly novels. And artist, drawing mostly. I did get to meet Pat and showed him a drawing of some bats, that reminded of his music piece "Bat"!! His music has gotten me thru some tough times in my life, as well!! |

Teacher, mostly secondary education and vocational training. Subjects being Dutch and, until 10 years ago, English (so, sorry for the mistakes I do make now and then…, but I try to keep up by reading Anglo-American books mainly). The last few years I’ve been working with immigrants exclusively (so- called Dutch ‘naturalization’ courses). |

Fendweller: If you look up the definition of demographics you will see that it covers a very wide range of data about cultures. Occupation, income and other secondary aspects are all part of a demographic profile. |
fendweller Apr 05 2011 at 4:15 AM |
Writer for a (cough) language consultancy. But, err, isn’t demographics about age rather than occupation? |

wright, that’s too funny and oh-so-true. My father was born and raised a Southern Baptist and I have many relatives down south who still are. You’re right on with your accusation. |

John, if you take two of them with you, they wouldn’t drink any of your brewskies. They would both decline in fear that the flock would learn of it, and because they are raging hypocrites. |

Hey. professional guitarist/arranger/producer, Hi all! |
wright Apr 02 2011 at 8:15 AM |
Well I attended a southern Baptist church while growing up, but didn’t have good enough hair to be a preacher, so I became a school psychologist. I learned a lot about Baptists during those years, for example, always take at least two of them with you when you go fishing - if you take just one, he will drink all of your beer. |
