I would be one of those who would have said that they prefer Pat with the PMG over all others. After tonight, I take it back. Way back. This concert, this band, the way Pat is currently playing is the most inspired music of his already inspired career. I cannot say enough about it. The song "This Belongs To You" is his best ever ballad and brought me to tears tonight. Pat has had great collaborations obviously, but hearing him and Chris Potter qualifies as the top of the top with his telepathic connection with Antonio on top of it all. If you have the chance to see this band do not miss it. Just freaking amazing. |
