Frank I think I saw a post where you were looking for when Pat would be on stage on 9/2. Here is the info I just received today - 5pm Chase Stage, located at Cadillac Square and Woodward Ave. Hope this helps. Tiger game at 1:05 then Pat at 5:00. Now that is a good day. |

Pat doing a free show outdoors on a beautiful sunny day, awesome. Then watching Justin Verlander throw 8 innings on one run ball, great. The Tigers beating the White Sox and goint into 1st place, tremendous. Me getting on live National TV during the game, priceless!

Pat was amazing, I esp. enjoyed Chis playing flute.
Set was limited to 1 hr 15 minutes. an overflow crowd was present. They were followed by Joe Lovono Dave Douglas SoundPrints , which was Fantastic (Free Press critic gave it the Siver Medel best performance).

Wow! That’s an incredible line-up for a free 3-day festival. Sonny Rollins, Kenny Garrett, Gary Burton, Donald Harrison, Pat, Wynton, and many more. Too late to book for this year, but it looks like Detroit will be in future travel plans.

I’ll be there! It’s probably a good idea to get there early. I’m sure there will be a crowd for this one.
