Just scored front row for Newport. Nice little perk for members. They don’t even announce the line up until tomorrow and tickets onsale Thursday. Did discover that Saturdays show also features Bill Frizell doing the John Lennon Song Book. What better way to spend a sunny summer’s day? |

some 5 or 6 years ago I spent a few days in Newport while crusing New England with my wife. We have warm memories of our stay in this nice city. Lovely weather, kind people. Would love to visit the jazz fest sometime.

I was considering going but with so many bands playing each day I figured the sets will be 30-45 minutes long.
