Really enjoyed the show. Because of the format there was an immediacy and possibly even a clarity to the playing that I haven’t heard before in Trio/Group/Other settings. Larry is an absolute monster on bass. Oh, there was an unexpected surpise. Two thumbs up. Going to Skeedaddle for the Jazz Alley shows also. |

Dazedcat: I know you’ve been thinking about going to the NYC shows. FWIW: Seattle is about a 90 minute drive south for me so I splurged and booked myself and girlfriend into a nice hotel for the two nights down there. It was kind of expensive but well worth it. So take your honey to the Big Apple and have a hoot! You’ll be glad you did. ;-)

I just got home from hearing Pat and Larry here in Bellingham. What a joy to hear music on this level! Both were playing beautifully.
Pat - Thank you so much for coming to our small town. I am so very embarrassed that the balcony was not completely full...You are evangelizing jazz and music and so many of us get it and get you...but not all...not yet. :-)
