Bookmark and Share Gabriel, .... As I sit here sipping some good Malbec from Mendoza, I’m enjoying some of Pat’s great ’tunes’ along with other favorites. I often hope that I could be attending these concerts in faraway places, like Perugia or Verona, or Buenos Aires. In any case, Pat music is all about creating ’tunes’ and melodies that somehow you never forget, and when you here them, you’re in that moment.

Bookmark and Share gabrielaramirezargentina--I liked what the Tibetan Monk said about Pat’s music allowing you to suspend the sort of ongoing mental darkness and restlessness and just being in a now-moment of beauty. Really nailed what PM’s music is!

Bookmark and Share That´s right, Patsfan, Pat´s influence is global... I remember during one of his visits to Buenos Aires, a reporter wrote: "If there is such place as Heaven, this is the music there will be surely playings dissapointed by most religions, however, Pat´s music suddenly made him feel hope and wish that -if such beautiful music can be played and heard in our caotic world-, it is possible to believe there is an intangible source one step beyond the matter itself. Finally, and while enjoying a conversation with a Tibetan Monk visiting Buenos Aires I couldn´t help to have him listen ome of Pat´s recitals -the one recorded in Italy, I think-. He noticed the joy of the crowd humming Pat´s melodies and we concluded that one of the reasons we experience such joy during his live concerts is that his music manages to keep our retless minds quiet, in the moment of now, simply breathing and accepting beauty without mental resistence.s.. I found that reflect on Pat´s music very beautiful :)

Is that mean that Pat is an ET coming from some of the more evolved civilizations? When he composes, is he just tunning in his planet´s radio? How can we do to also become Methenians? :)

Bookmark and Share I’m in New York, NY. I love when Pat comes, but he always picks the venues with terrible acoustics (i.e. Carnegie Hall, Town Hall Theater), where the details of Pat’s genius are horribly obscured by reverberation. I usually try to go home to Princeton instead when he passes through--McCarter Theater there is a bit smaller, and you can really, REALLY hear what’s going on.
